Photographs, ca. 1892-1974.

This record group consists of various sized black and white, sepia, and color prints showing views of training, camp life, ceremonies and reviews, officers and men mainly of the 31st, 32nd, and 33rd Michigan Infantry Regiments during the Spanish-American War. Includes some views of unit activities in Cuba. Later prints include photos taken of various state encampments, reunions, and women's auxiliary meetings. Names on the reverse of the older items indicate they were collected and donated by Samuel King and Benjamin Newell. A number of unidentified portraits are included, identified persons were removed and place in the Michigan Biography Collection.
